Detailer / Light Mechanic

Responsibilities

As a Detailer/Mechanic, you will have a high level of accountability for our inventory such as:

  • Ensuring the dealership looks exciting and inviting to customers
  • Utilizing your mechanical skills to evaluate and repair inventory
  • Assisting the front office with customer service and collections
  • Detailing vehicles

Responsibilities

As the general manager, you will have a high level of accountability for all dealership functions including, but not limited to:

  • Generating revenue by executing the company sales process utilizing the CRM to achieve performance objectives

  • Inventory management of 25 to 30 vehicles
  • Dealership presentation including facility and property management

Staff Accountant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •       Responsible for verifying and preparing daily banking transactions including cash concentrations, auctions/wholesalers and vendor payments, and uploading & depositing checks with remote deposit machine
  •       Post daily recurring credit card batch, process weekly over-on-payoff and rollovers, and bi-weekly employee payments
  •       Responsible for reconciling various bank statements and problem-solving issues
  •       Calculations and postings for GL insurance, interest accruals, and property tax schedules
  •       Prepare and post aging, discount, and split entries
  •       Prepare and maintain a variety of monthly reports & spreadsheets
  •       Code and post various banking and general journal entries
  •       Review and balance various accounts
  •       Assist in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting
  •     Responsible for submitting annual census data to government
  •     Back-up for others in the Accounting Department as needed
  •     Great Plains experience preferred

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  •       Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and analyses in one-on-one and small group situations.
  •       Mathematical Skills– Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  •       Independent Judgment/ReasoningAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  •       Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Relevant work experience preferred; not mandatory. Intermediate or higher skill level with Excel.
  •       Public RelationsRequired contact with all levels of employees, vendors and other professional establishments outside the Company.
  •       Confidentiality – Check processing and access to financial information regarding payments and other business data.
  •       Accountability – Control of Company funds and purchasing when applicable.  Responsible for Company checks and payment of accounts.
  •       Physical Exertion/Lifting Requirement/Visual or Mental Concentration – High level of visual and mental concentration is necessary.  Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
  •       Special Demands – Potential field travel with limited overnight stays, and handling of after-hours accounting ‘hotline’ phone.
  •     Certificates Licenses and Registrations – Valid driver’s license for state in which employee resides.

Responsibilities

As an Asset Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and processing legal proceedings for charge-offs:  

 Prepare charge-off files as they come into the department, statue them appropriately.    Set auction sales of repossessed vehicles, post auction payments after sales    Process, post and import customer payments    Phone calls to customers as needed to locate customers or vehicles.    Call customers that are set up for payment arrangements.    Other duties may be assigned as needed.
